Do you remember way back to the first Sunday of Lent this year? We found “Hallelujahs” scattered around the church. We gathered them all up and put them away until Easter. Well, this Sunday is the day that we should be bringing those Hallelujahs back out! We can’t go into the church to find them, so I hope you will help me…
Last week you sent me pictures for a Virtual Palm Sunday Parade and they were great! I have had lots of comments from people who watched our parade on Youtube. They loved your creativity and they loved seeing you. I have been asked if we could do something similar for Easter Sunday. So…
Could you send me a picture of how you are getting ready to celebrate Easter? Maybe you are decorating eggs or cooking up something delicious. Maybe you are creating an Easter Bonnet! And I’d like to bring out some Hallelujahs too. You could create your own artwork or check out free colouring pages online. (If you google “free colouring pages hallelujah”, lots of ideas come up.)
Let’s add some colour and some joy to this most special day in the Christian year! Young and old are invited to participate. Please send me your photos (lorrie12@gmail.com) by Thursday so I can put them together for our Sunday morning service. (Once again, this will be on Youtube so please use your judgement about posting pictures. No names will be attached.)
